So I'm switching my major to communication sciences and disorders. I am going to be a pediatric speech therapist and I am going to learn sign language and work with disabled children. I am going to make a difference in the world.

so
UF rocks my blue and orange sox.
I really miss everyone a lot, but I have been so busy that night is the only time i think about it. My dorm is amazing. I am on the top bunk with katherine below me. We both have a lot of stuff but since we bunked the beds we have a ton of room now.
There is so much to do here. My new favorite place is the football stadium. We go there every few nights to chill. They let u just sit in there till like 9:30 or so. Its peaceful, and not to mention about 10 degrees cooler to to a breeze that the rest of the campus is lacking. Boy do I miss sea breezes. My car said 112 the other day. And that was after i had been driving around a while. Last night I went to an improv show with Alix Jenna and Kristen at the most adorable starbucks i have ever seen. It had twinkly lights outside. I felt like i was in a coffee shop in Paris. Anyways it was so funny that I lost my voice from laughing and cheering so loud. Then we played pool, foosball, and air hockey. Alix powned me at AH. as in 7-1.
my classes are going well. I love my first year florida class. Its like freshman experience. Its cool. Bio is hard as butt already. Calc seems fine, but its not 6th period ap calc. nothing could compare. By the way I switched my softball class to Latin Dance. There was no way i could go three miles from softball to calc in 15 minutes twice a week. So I have yet to go to latin dance, anthropology, or bio lab. but im looking forward to it.
Thats enough for now I think.

i still cannot see anyone elses journals.
sigh.
So im going to universal tm to spend some time with the fam. Im so excited!!!
I went to the allergist the other week and the dentist today. No cavitites yay!
When i got retested for my allergies, besides dairy, which was off the charts as usual, my two highest reactants were dust and cigarettes. thank god im going to college, because there is no way i will be exposed to dust or smoke there. ha

My livejournal is so weird. I cant see other peoples entries again.
LOL.
Ah summer. How I loveth thee.
Today I made a collage with 55 pictures(yes I counted) of my friends and family for this 16 x 20 frame that I bought at Michael's for $5. It is for my wall in my dorm. It took me more than three hours. Then, whilst assembling it, I broke the glass in the frame. It went everywhere. lol. Oh well. The collage looks amazing. I will just get a new frame. I guess thats what I get for paying $5 lol. Then I laid out by the pool and read 30 pages of my summer reading book for UF, Mountains Beyond Mountains. It is amazing and I actually like it a lot.
Life is good right now, with the exception of missing Jessica and Katie a lot.
Oh I was angry for a while because I was supposed to take a free tap class with a new teacher today at 4 at my studio but my moms car broke and she took mine. Its all good though, I already got one free class this summer. I really hope I can find something to do with dance up at UF if I cant get into my class during drop add week because I think I will go crazy without it.
Im thinking of joining a Christian sorority at UF called Theta Alpha it looks amazing.
I am so excited to go to college.

my livejournal says that there are no entries from my friends page. it said that last week too, i thot it was a glitch that wld sort itself out
apparently not.
so i have read no entries from anyone in like 2+ weeks

I AM GOING TO A MARLINS GAME TOMORROW WOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are spectacular seats!!! someone gave them to my neighbor who couldnt go so he came over and gave them to me!!!! they are ground level, right next to the bullpen. Literally FRONT ROW!!! You know what that means!!! (well actually I am apparently the only one who knows what that means, so no offense, but nobody knows what that means)
FOUL BALL CITY!!!!!!!!!!

Hi People
Sorry for the extremely sporadic updatage.
Last time I updated I believe was last thursday after dress rehearsal. Friday's show went spectacular for me, which is great because that was the night they taped, and the night my whole family attended. Saturday morning was fun, watching all of the little kids dance and getting to do my favorite dance again (42nd Street). The matinee show ended at like 5 and we had to be back by 615 for the last teen show. So i went (along with about 40 other ppl lol) to my friend Liz's house who lives right near Spanish River (where recital was held) and had turkey burgers and fruit. Then I went right back pretty much. Saturday Night's show went well enough. It was really hard tho. Totally emotional. The 5 of us who got the director's award this year have been at southern dance for 14 years, so we really have grown up together. Thank God for waterproof makeup. Sunday I had another matinee show, my final performance. that was almost worse than saturday. Its so surreal. Something that has been such a major part of my life for the past 14 years is gone. It was so special to me. I really cant believe its over. I mean I know i can take dance in college, but nothing will ever be the same.
Then, after all that, i had about 24 hours to pack and then it was off to Colorado with my dad and brother. Tuesday we flew into Denver. We got there about 1pm their time, which is 2 hrs behind. We went to this little CityPlace-esque shopping center and saw Ocean's 13. AMAZING!!! The next morning we went downtown and visited the US Mint, which was actually kinda cool. Then we drove the two or so hours to Breckenridge. It is 10,000 ft elevation. I have never seen anything so beautiful in my entire life. I felt so relaxed. It was freezing! It went down to 33 the first night we were there. We spent the rest of Wednesday exploring the logde where we stayed. Thursday we hiked up the mountain and saw snow for the very first time (well me and my brother anyways.) It was so much fun. Friday we went up the mountain to this little fun park thing and we rode the chiarlift up to the top and rode back down on this giant sled thing. Its like a bobsled with no snow lol. You sit on this lttle skateboard lookin thing with breaks. It was like a two minute ride back down!! it was so much fun. Then we drove back to Denver and went back to the movies and saw Fantastic Four, which was pretty good actually. Then we woke up at 4 the next morning to come home. I am so jet lagged. But it was amazing
I highly doubt anyone read all that, but I dont care

Okay so tonight was dress rehearsal.
Here's a blow by blow
I got the Director's award, which is pretty darn spiffy.
Ballet was firt : part one, i fell backstage, stupidly, while switching wings between my parts. So i was late and had to whack my poor friend with my tutu to get back on.
Part 2: Clean. I almost kicked the Queens throne tho. I shld be more careful tm. THe ballet is sleeping beauty btw
Talking in Tongues (Tap): dreadful. at least i didnt fall like at blocking rehearsal
42nd steet: (Tap) Really good actually
Senior dance: Spectacular as usual. Its Cell Block Tango. I almost fell off my chair once. That could have been bad.
Question of you: (jazz) could have been worse, but I skinned the top of my foot
Lion King (jazz) Really well considering I learned the dance Tuesday. Im filling in for a girl who got really sick. Im praying for you Lina!
So yeah Im exhauated, smelly, dirty, and sore. But SOOOO happy. I love dance. I love life.

so here is what has happened since grad nite
senior week: spectacular. see myspace for photos.
prom was amazing. i danced too much again. killed my knees. totally worth it.
awesome after party. yup.
monday was fun. my last odd day. i dissected a shark in marine. it was really cool,but mine was slightly rotten. i smelled like bad fish all day.
tuesday was fun also. very unproductive. my last day of regular high school ever
wednesday: AP calc exam. very hard, as expected, but it went a little better than i expected it to. i really needed a lot more time. the only section i actually finished with no extra time was the calculator m/c. i think i got a 2, maybe a 3 if im lucky. i think i skipped to many to pass though, not because i dont know how to do them, i just didnt have time to go back to them.
thursday: AP lit. easy. 4 probably, 5 if im lucky. went much better than last years ap language catastrophe of needing to ask for more paper because the booklet was divided and i didnt look. my essays were good, except i hope they know what the gangster we are all looking for is. it was on the master list of AP books. that was the only book i could remember the characters names from. i only had about 20 minutes to write it. again i ran out of time.
friday: ap euro. not too bad. better than ap world lol. maybe a 4. i was running out of steam at the end. then i went out to dinner with jessica to the Two Chefs Souparee. i love that place. the perfect end to a loooong week was a massive bowl of chicken soup.
so there was my week
this week: monday is checkout, plus dance
tuesday is senior breakfast, plus pathfinders
wednesday is senior awards
thursday is graduation rehearsal plus dance
friday is graduation and party time

So grad nite was definetly the best night of my entire life. It could not have been more perfect. Sigh. Had I not been running as fast as possible to get back to the bus when they were playing the graduation song, I prolly would have cried. But I was running instead. LOL. My perception of time is totally altered. Yeah.

Wednesday- Jess day and family time
Thursday- DISNEY
Friday- DISNEY
Saturday- DISNEY and pool
Sunday- Easter, family time, and LOTS of pool, turned into a lobster, LOTS of eating)
Monday(tm)- RAPIDS!!!! (and dance yay)
sigh.
I love vacations.
Why do they have to end.

I am feeling so lazy.
It is so true that you don't know what senioritis is until u kno where ur going to college.
UGGG.
I want to quit school and become a full time dancer, but I really dont want both my parents to commit suicide, which is ultimately what would happen if their preciuos little genius became anything besides a brain surgeon or ruler of the free world.
No matter what happens, someone always ends up dissapointed. Im tired of it being me.
